In preparation for the transition from Issue 7 to Issue 8 of the BRC Food Safety Standard, Control Union UK is running a series of free events to highlight the changes, and what these mean for you.
Each of the 1 day events will be led by our team delving into the new version of the standard and key differences from Issue 7 you should look out for.
- Know the reasons for changes to the Standard
- Be able to explain how the changes will benefit retailers, manufacturers, auditors, and consumers
- Recognise the changes from Issue 7 including changes to the format of the Standard, changes to the existing clauses, and new requirements and clauses
- Understand how changes to the Standard affect the audit process and reports
- An In-depth knowledge of some of the specific changes within the Standard
Who Should Attend
Food industry managers, supervisors and team members responsible for food safety systems.
Before attending this course you must read and review the Issue 8 Standard, which will be available from the BRC Bookshop in August 2018.
This 1-day course will provide learners with an understanding of the revisions to the Standard requirements. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to assist in successfully implement the changes to the Standard on site.
