With a global consumer base of about 1.8 billion Muslims, which is expected to grow across 112 countries, the halal food market is expanding significantly and halal-prepared food products are in high demand.

To meet this demand, Control Union Turkey, is authorized by the Health, Safety and Halal Association (HelalDer) in Turkey.

The Halal Certification Standard (Helal 22 Management System Standard for Halal Certification) developed by HelalDer, is based on the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System Standard.
