Circular Textiles & Fashion

The devastating effects of consumers’ demand for fast fashion are increasingly becoming apparent. However, the tide is turning for the good as companies are scaling up their close-the-loop initiatives. Waste, accelerated carbon footprints and overproduction in the textile industry are going out of fashion while circularity principles such as recycling, remanufacturing, refurbishing, reuse and dematerialisation are implemented instead.
Circular Textiles and Fashion
At Control Union, we are supported by our core values of honesty, integrity and respect for people, society and environment. Accordingly, we aim to assist our clients towards contributing to higher environmental and social performance standards. We work diligently to develop circular textile strategies and action plans, referencing best practice frameworks and regulatory guidance for compliance to build close-the-loop initiatives. Digitalization and data are key drivers in framing our market leadership and capitalization on market opportunities.

On October 4th 2022, Control Union is hosting a design jam on circular textiles and fashion in London. Together with the London College of Fashion and What Design Can Do, we challenge students and industry partners to strategize towards methods for circular textiles and fashion. This workshop kicks-off a series of collaborative sessions with forward-thinking professionals.
