NEWS - 25-07-2017 As has been widely reported on the BBC and elsewhere today, the Scottish Fisheries Sustainable Accreditation Group (SFSAG) North Sea cod fishery has been assessed and certified against the MSC Fisheries Standard for sustainable fishing and has been found to meet the criteria for a well-managed and sustainable fishery. As the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and certifier of this fishery, ME Certification Limited would like to congratulate SFSAG and acknowledge the considerable effort by industry, processors and NGOs to bring the cod stock back to sustainable levels.

NEWS - 29-06-2017 Since our recently gained accreditation, we proudly announce that Control Union Certifications issued the first accredited GSTC certificate worldwide to one of our first GSTC clients in Greece.

NEWS - 21-05-2017 Having been released in June 2016, the Responsible Wool Standard focuses on animal welfare and land management at farm level, in addition to traceability of the supply chain. Control Union is proud to announce we have already certified 10 projects for this program.
