Control Union wins Outdoor Industry Association Sustainability Award

During last months massive Outdoor Retailer trade show in Denver, Colorado, Control Union Certifications was awarded the Outdoor Industry Association's "Together We Are A Force" Award for Sustainability in the development of the Responsible Down Standard.

Together with Textile Exchange and our clients The North Face, Aliied Feather and Downlite, we were invited to participate in the Awards Breakfast on July 24th. The OIA has developed three categories of awards, including Policy, Participation and Sustainability to highlight the industry's collaborative efforts and the awards recognize individual organizations who have partnered cross-organizationally to spark innovation and progress through new processes, products, methods, systems, services, tools or other initiatives.

The development of this standard included many of our employees from China, Hungary, Poland, the Netherlands and the United States.
