UK based spirit business, the Isle of Wight Distillery, became the first company to be certified as 100% Plastic Free by Control Union UK on 24 November 2020.
Control Union is exclusive certifier for the Plastic Free Certification Mark by A Plastic Planet and has resumed certifying in October with the launch of the new standard.
Since then, the global certification company has been inundated with like-minded businesses looking to follow the many other brands and adopt the Certification Mark.
Designed with today’s conscious consumer in mind, the recognisable Certification Mark can now be seen on thousands of products, confirming that products are 100% Plastic Free.
Once certified by Control Union, the logo can be used on any products, packaging or materials.
